Remembering local history is treasuring our roots and evoking the stamp of patriots who gave everything for the revolutionary cause, which is why a representation of young people from Calixteños arrived today at the tarja located in the Itabos neighborhood to remember the beginning of the War little girl.

Arriving at the Ovidio Proenza Bautista farm located in the “Los Proenzas” neighborhood, 3 kilometers from the municipal seat, Buenaventura, in the Holguin municipality of Calixto García, is to appreciate a true jewel, as he himself expressed with satisfaction.

A total of thirty Calixteños received the 60th anniversary commemorative stamp on the occasion of the new birthday of the municipality of Calixto García being celebrated here. This is how it transpired in the solemn Assembly of People's Power held in this territory.
