A total of ten women and 12 young people in the Holguín municipality of Calixto García benefited from a job placement, which will allow them to feel useful and contribute to improving their economy and that of their family.
This was demonstrated in the job fair that took place just a few hours ago in this territory, which was attended by nearly twenty organizations with proposals both in the business system and in budgeted entities.
Health, Communal, Culture, Education, Housing, Commerce and Gastronomy, the Electric Company, among others, were among the employing organizations that offered attendees the appropriate explanation and guidance to learn about the different job offers existing in the municipality. .
Ada Iris Velázquez Cruz, director of the Ministry of Labor in the municipality of Calixto García, expressed “This is the fourth employment fair that takes place in this territory, and it was distinguished by its massiveness, greater presence of employer organizations, greater dissemination, and by diversity in job proposals.”
Velázquez Cruz pointed out “The work prior to this type of event is important, because social workers know those people who in each district they serve do not work, and need a job, they do recruitment and orientation work with the families who "They need greater financial remuneration, and there are some members of working age who are able to offer them options and incorporate them into employment."
And the director noted, “It must be recognized that this fair had very good dissemination in all ways, in person, through radio, digital platforms, and graphically. “
