Support for the brotherly people of Venezuela, the Bolivarian Revolution, and Nicolás Maduro as the legitimate president of the South American nation was expressed in the signatures signed by the Labor Directorate collective in the Holguín municipality of Calixto García.

Ada Iris Velázquez Cruz, director of the organization, said, "The signing of the social workers and the rest of the group in support of Venezuela took place on a special date, as the 25th of every month is celebrated as Orange Day, chosen as a day of struggle for non-violence against women."

Starting this Wednesday, September 24th, spaces were opened in all workplaces, student centers, and communities across the country to collect signatures in support of the Cuban Revolutionary Government's Declaration: "It is urgent to prevent a military aggression against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela."
The signature collection, which runs until September 30th, also represents the continued support of mass and social organizations, and of Cuban civil society in general, for the struggle waged by the brotherly Venezuelan people against the threats of the US government.
