The majestic Heredia Theater in the Hero City of Santiago de Cuba was the stage for the National Act for the Teacher's Day, with the presence of two exemplary teachers from our municipality of Calixto García.
The joy of the Calixto family overflowed upon learning of the presence at the great meeting of Yarismilka Marrero García, from the Camilo Cienfuegos School Center, in San Agustín de Aguaras, invited for her status as Researcher of the Year of the sector in the province of Holguín and Yaimara Gómez Ramírez, from the Leonor Pérez School, in the Jagüeyes neighborhood, winner of the national event of the rural sector.
In a telephone conversation with Yarismilka we learned interesting details about her presence at the event: "luckily my backpack is always ready, because I found out about the invitation on Thursday afternoon, but I rejoice to know that they take into account so much effort, very happy also to share with Yaimara, so humble and studious."
Through the conversation we learned that the Holguin delegation is made up of twenty educators and directors from different educational levels.

Part of the history of this tireless young woman from San Agustín has already been shared through this very Page, from her beginnings in primary school to her intense work of teaching and research with the autistic child of her town, with which she seeks the greatest social recognition of the child until her dreamed title of Doctor of Education Sciences.
However, in the telephone exchange from Santiago, headquarters of the Act for the Day of the Education Worker, we learned about the meaning of the Award that led to the invitation to the great meeting of the sector: "receiving the Award for the best Teacher Researcher of the province is a reason for pride and commitment to continue doing science from Pedagogy."
When asked about the dedication of the tall scroll, she said: "I dedicate the award to my son Diego, my best teacher. To Rudney, my student with autism, for making me a better professional and to the huge group of collaborators from my beloved San Agustín who make it possible for teacher Yari's dreams to come true."
We also spoke for a few seconds with the other young woman from Calixteña present at the National Act for Teachers' Day, teacher Yaimara, from the Leonor Pérez school in Jagueyes, just enough for her to express her impressions to the people of Calixteña: "I owe my presence at this great act to my unique class, winner of the national event in the rural sector, but which is a prize from all the students and workers of my beloved little school."
Likewise, in this extensive verbal meeting via mobile phone, we heard some words from a fellow countrywoman from my birthplace, Santa Lucía, the current secretary of the sector's Union, teacher Yeraine: very happy with this medal, a recognition that I did not expect but that I will share with all my colleagues in the municipality, they are all deserving."

It is a good time, on such a distinguished date for the family of education in the country, to be able to present to you the heartbeat on behalf of the Holguin Delegation and especially from our two representatives, Yarismilka and Yaimara, a genuine example of the unstoppable force of Cuban youth.
