With the joy of being worthy of the provincial headquarters for the 63rd anniversary of the José Martí Pioneer Organization (OPJM) and the 62nd of the Union of Young Communists (UJC) in the Holguín municipality of Calixto García, different days are lived in which Initiatives prevail to make 2024 an unforgettable celebration.

With that purpose, each of the pioneer groups celebrates and celebrates as stated by the sixth grade student and Collective Head, Leidis Daniela Boza González, from the Luis Felipe Gutiérrez Territorial Unit. “We really like the activities of the pioneer explorer movement, so we decided to activate the brigade and participate in institutional projects, recreational and sports activities to join this party from now on.”

According to Yamilet Yero Sánchez, Member of the Municipal Bureau of the UJC in the territory, the proposed objective is now a reality. "So far we are satisfied with how each of our schools have prepared for this celebration with special morning sessions, recreational festivals, a knowledge festival and many other proposals where our children are the protagonists."

"The celebration," he adds, "has barely begun. We have designed an extensive program that will also include productive days, sports competitions, meetings with former leaders, among other activities, and on April 1st our central plaza in Buenaventura will serve as the provincial stage for this great celebration which we will arrive with the dynamism, the color and the reasons that we all have as continuers of this socialist project of celebrating united and committed to Cuba.”
