In the municipality of Calixto García, the Summer Plan will be launched under the slogan "Summer Mode," beginning on July 5th of this year. More than 20 recreational areas will be available to offer activities for the entire population, including recreational games, recreational and sports competitions, street plans, and the "Sports Takeover" project.
During the summer, significant dates will be celebrated, such as Youth Day, the anniversary of the attacks on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks, the birthday of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro, and the anniversary of the Federation of Cuban Women, among others.
José Alfredo Reyes Noris, recreation methodologist at the Municipal Sports Directorate, emphasized that all preparations have been finalized to ensure a season full of fun, surprises, and excitement, with special emphasis on reaching the neighborhoods and communities throughout the area.
