The First Secretary of the PCC Provincial Committee in Holguín Ernesto Santiesteban Velázquez led a visit to the Popular Council of Mir where he evaluated the progress of the works being carried out there as part of the remodeling plan in salute to the 65th Anniversary of the constitution of the Fourth Simón Bolívar Front .
The member of the Central Committee also toured important sites in the town that are receiving repairs or undergoing beautification details such as the Grandparents' House, the polyclinic, the mini terminal and educational centers. In his exchange with the groups he insisted on the quality of the work and the use of resources. He was also interested in the assurance of each task as a premise to guarantee completion on time as a worthy tribute to those who made that feat a reality.
Santiesteban was accompanied by the governor of the province Manuel Hernández Aguilera, by the Municipal Mayor Romny Pérez Roja, as well as directors of provincial and territorial organizations committed to the completion of all works in progress, one of them the improvement of the embankment that links to Mir with the central highway.
The IV Simón Bolívar Front operated with three guerrilla columns in Puerto Padre, Las Tunas, Bayamo and Holguín.
