For many, life is fleeting and ends in a short time, for others, long decades of joy and also dark moments fill their days. But at the end of the day, life is a gift that should be appreciated.
But we will not fill endless lines of texts that bore the eye about how important life is, much less are we going to saturate the network with zeros and ones that would only reach a few. Today, on such a special day, I would like to talk to you about something that has often been equated with life.
Friendship, according to many, no longer exists, I believe it does. And I invite you to look back and ask yourself: Do you have friends? Today there are few true friendships, not everyone is who they say they are, because with social networks the term friend has become a word that unites two profiles on a social network.
Friendship is more than that, more than a big hug or endless nights of drinks and parties. It is that trust that time and effort forged and that at some point led to the phrase "you can count on me."
If we look at history itself, there were friendships that became legend. How not to think about Camilo and Che when talking about unbreakable friendships. How can we forget Fidel and Chávez, men who stood shoulder to shoulder forging ties that not even death could break, since their legend and memory accompany us to this day.
It is setting the bar high, if what we are looking for in our path is a friendship like this, legendary. The reality is that it is not impossible. But we have to walk in the comings and goings of life until one day without searching we find, or they find us. This is a good time to think about those soul friends, those who are worth more than gold, visit them and shake their hand with a calm gesture and say thank you for being my friend.
