With the pride of being followers of an organization that is the essence of Cuban youth, more than 200 tenth grade students from the Holguín municipality of Calixto García joined today the Federation of High School Students (Feem).
During the celebration of the municipal event held at the Armando Valle López Urban Pre-University Institute (IPU) in Buenaventura, the new members reaffirmed loyalty and commitment to the youth organization.
This was highlighted by Daliana Parra Martínez, who also had the honor of speaking to the students. “For me it is a pride to join the Feem, here we mature, we develop although it is new for us, we will be getting into it little by little and getting to know it better to continue honoring it.”
This celebration was presided over by Alietis Rodríguez Hechavarría, Municipal President of Feem in the Calixteño territory, who highlighted the challenge of continuing to multiply the organization's activism from the classrooms. “It is a moment of joy because the Feem grows, it is an injection with new energy and expectations, that is why we have to teach our students to love it and continue defending it as we have done until now and that in the 4 Feem centers of the municipality the organization with the dynamism and joy that characterizes it.
Currently more than 800 students make up Feem in the Calixteño territory, hence the challenge to continue from the classrooms putting heart and love into Cuba.
