The Pioneer Action Forces (Fapi) returned as a necessary and contributing space. This was confirmed from July 1 to July 6 when pioneers from all over Calixteña dedicated themselves to socioeconomic and productive actions.
"There are no difficult tasks for the children and they are always willing, that is why I like working with them so much," says Estrella Rodríguez Oliva, base guide of the Rigoberto Mora Aguilera semi-boarding school in Buenaventura.
The activities, she says, were directed at cleaning the center that is currently receiving construction improvements, cultural attention to the garden of medicinal plants and in a special way initiatives were directed in the energy program.
"The families visited were impressed by the children's spontaneity, simplicity and many times they even smiled and hugged them," said the pioneer leader.
In schools such as Wilfredo Peña Cabrera de Mir, the Fapi were characterized by productivity and diversity, according to Zeyly Pérez Rodríguez, base guide. "Resuming this initiative is very positive and allows children to not only contribute to food production and hygiene, but also to go beyond with impactful tasks such as repairing the study material base and these are actions that contribute to their formation as citizens."
