The shift to a new energy matrix in Calixto García's public health sector continues to make headlines. This time, from the southern part of Calixto García, residents are expressing their gratitude for every national effort to ensure the continued availability of services to the community.
This is acknowledged by Benjamín Parra Santiesteban, Administrator of the Ernesto Guevara de la Serna Polyclinic in Mir. "With solar energy, we are able to provide better service to patients; this responsibility falls on us, the healthcare workers," he stated. He added,
"The community appreciates the country's efforts to install these panels in various health centers. These are the facilities where patients undergo examinations and receive first aid for any ailment."
To date, solar panels have been installed in several healthcare institutions, including the Buenaventura nursing home.
