With the goal of preventing, controlling, and increasing activism in the fight against addiction, the monthly campaign led by local organizations and entities, as well as those throughout the country, began today.
This time, the General Directorate of Education opened its doors for dialogue and timely reflection on vital topics such as the prevention of gateway drugs, their devastating consequences, and the social role of addiction. These issues were addressed by Renato Aguilera Santiesteban, a specialist in disease promotion for the municipality.
From this Monday until Friday the 24th, the campaign against addiction will offer talks, discussions, presentations, and other activities to delve deeper into this essential topic in everyday life and will reach all audiences.
