The group of workers from the Buenaventura polyclinic classifies among the centers that achieve efficient use of electricity in the western Holguin municipality of Calixto García, during the first two months of the year.

The Public Health assistance unit, without limiting services to the population, managed to save more than 400 kilowatts in the months of January and February from an assigned plan of 3,000 for the stage.

"In the Buenaventura polyclinic, specialized medical consultations are offered for different patients, ultrasounds, as well as the vaccination and warehouse area, among other services where electricity must be used and we have to express in good time that measures are applied to this day they contribute to savings, such as turning off lights and equipment during peak hours and controlling the meter reading each day ”, specified Alberto Cruz Ávila, union representative and savings activist.

The Electric Business Unit of the municipality of Calixto García offers services to more than 22 thousand state and residential clients, who apply measures in the efficient use of energy to avoid overdrafts in consumption that could cause blackouts due to lack of generation in thermoelectric plants.
