Indira Cedeño, pionera.Willingness, dedication and love for her profession are some of the qualifiers that define the young Calixteña Indira Cedeño Peña who did not hesitate for a moment to put teaching methods into practice so that each of her students at Wilfredo Peña elementary school, from Mir's Popular Council, the skills to overcome the challenges imposed by Covid 19: “Difficult times, he assures, but also moments that make us think about how to give a little more of ourselves and, without a doubt, leave the fruits, because we could get there even the homes of children who did not have the possibility of receiving teleclasses with written materials so as not to lose a day in the teaching-learning process. But in difficult times there are also life lessons ”.
For this work that she did not neglect for several months so that her students could successfully complete the school period that the new coronavirus was trying to spoil, and her active work at home to take advantage of every piece of land in planting food, she was.
In her neighborhood of Mireña, she had the entertainment to publicize the encouragement she shared with her husband, who also left ample evidence that young people must be counted on.
