Adisney Pozo DiazThe experience put into practice experimentally in the province of Matanzas shows the value as a form of government based on the system of participatory democracy. On October 31, 1976, the People's Power as an organizational form of political leadership extends to the entire country.

Since then, 41 years have passed and the People's Power continues to sustain the knowledge and values of women and men who have dignified that political system from the local organs.

Adisney Pozo Díaz began his work as delegate of the People's Power in October 2012 in the 84th district of Cañada Larga and two years and later in the partial elections of April 2015 he was re-elected for a new term, but now in the district 77, result of the unification with the demarcation of Pozo Viejo, belonging to the Popular Council of Las Casimbas, municipality of Calixto García in Holguin.

"The Community Group is the right hand of the delegate, from here decisions are taken in favor of the community to transform the problems that affect the people, but visits to the voters is the most effective mechanism to identify with the reality of their fellow citizens "Says Pozo Díaz, who has five years of experience as representative of the town in that rural area with about 10 km2 of surface.

Other management mechanisms validate the legal and moral authority of the delegate in the political system of the local bodies of the Popular Power: "The accountability before the delegates consolidates or weakens your authority because in that assembly you have to report on the results of your management in the treatment offered to the problems raised and you must do so accurately and truthfully, while receiving the new concerns. "

From his simple and humble home this young delegate, who works as auditor, has created his family, in which his little daughter and wife occupy the most important place in his life and inspire him to continue governing with the people and for the town.

Adisney Pozo Díaz is nominated as a candidate for a new mandate at the proposal of his constituents who are already preparing to continue the election process with the referendum that will take place on November 26 of this year, with which the people will pay tribute to the main inspirer of the Popular Power, the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, precisely when the first anniversary of his funeral will be celebrated in the cemetery of Santa Ifigenia, in which the utility of virtue will have to be imposed in order to give continuity to socialism and its Cuban political system.
