With a festive atmosphere, massive participation, and a deep sense of belonging, the 65th anniversary of the founding of the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education, and Recreation (INDER) was celebrated in our territory. The anniversary became an opportunity to reaffirm the institution's role as a fundamental pillar in values ​​formation, health promotion, and the strengthening of community unity.

During the commemorative events, numerous sporting, recreational, and cultural activities were held, designed to engage the entire population. Children, youth, adults, and seniors gathered in various venues, united by a shared spirit of joy and commitment to the sporting movement.

Through physical culture exhibitions, competitive events, health promotion activities, and spaces for wholesome recreation, the vitality of sport and its positive impact on the daily lives of the people were demonstrated.

A highlight of the celebrations took place in the town of Mir. A vibrant Traditional Games Festival was held in the Permanent Recreation Area, reviving cultural roots through wholesome entertainment. Likewise, a nature and recreation event was held at the local ball court, allowing participants to enjoy the surroundings while engaging in group activities.

Each of these activities also served as a well-deserved tribute to the outstanding teachers, athletes, and workers in the sector. Their daily effort and dedication ensure that sports continue to be an inexhaustible source of well-being, discipline, and collective pride.

[In celebration of INDER's 65th Anniversary, the SHUTTLE TIME Badminton Project was held at the "IV Frente Simón Bolívar" Sports Complex in Mir, led by experienced instructor Freddy Hechavarría Tornes.]
