poceroMany, many times, Juan Celso Almaguer has made his trips to the center of the earth aided by a weapon as powerful as tenacity and tools manufactured and handled by himself.

His last adventure is undertaken decisively in his modest home in San Agustín de Aguaras, 12 kilometers north of Buenaventura, municipality of Calixto García, motivated according to Juan Celso, due to the lack of the benefit of a stable source of water.

For two months he has done this hard task, digs, fights against the rocks, and cleverly destroys them, then goes up, lowers the tank and rope, goes down again, deposits the earth in the container and goes up again to pull it. Repeat this routine 30 to 40 times per day.

The hole that lets you see the bowels of the earth is barely a meter in circumference and a depth of 12 meters, a notable figure that suggests that the water is close, says Juan Celso.

Undoubtedly this purpose is only for people whose tenacity and constancy are not in doubt, at 73 years of age, Juan Celso Almaguer demonstrates it in San Agustín de Aguaras, and does not cease in the effort to extract one of his treasures from the earth most precious: water.
