The consultations with the people on important decisions of the country is a palpable reality of our participatory democracy, this is confirmed by these days in the municipality of Calixto García in Holguin when the debates of the project of the constitution of the Republic take place.
The proposal of the new Magna Carta, which would replace the one in force since 1976, will help to consolidate all the socio-economic programs and achievements that guarantee Socialism, which is why the opinion of the people is so important.
In the interventions the integrality and solidity of the text is recognized, the support is expressed to the formulated, additions, modifications or eliminations are proposed and criteria are also exposed on Chapter III, referred to the social, economic and cultural rights, specifically on the article 68, according to data offered from the command post created in the municipality to receive and process the opinions of the people.
