fidel castro foto roberto chile"I have in my heart the doctrines of the teacher ...". There is no better phrase that eloquently illustrates the Martian essence that always identified Fidel Castro. His thought, always ahead of his time, his ability to envision the imperialist danger for our America, and his unlimited dedication to the same cause, show that these two men were endowed with the same light.

No one like them to appreciate in unity the only way to fight and win. To be at the side of the humble and to share with the humble was the virtue that also united these two great men who in different times knew how to fertilize history with the same ideal.

Fidel, the man who launched the Marti's preaching "With all and for the good of all" with the dignity and dedication of a true revolutionary, of a true disciple of José Martí. Nobody like him to fly the flag of the lonely star, of freedom, the same one that defended the Apostle in the fight against the Spaniards, the same wave that flares proud, proud and resplendent, identifying a Revolution that since its inception remains the same.

The same Revolution defended with nails and teeth by the Centennial Generation itself led by Fidel, the generation that kept alive the legacy of who has been baptized as the most universal of Cubans. The unrestricted delivery of these young people to the revolutionary cause demonstrated the greatness and historical heritage of the Apostle.

We must remember then the self-defense of Fidel Castro in the trial of the Moncada known later as History Will Absolve Me, which became denunciation against the dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista. It was there that he expressed that he was not allowed to consult any criminal law treaty in the cell and was banned from having access to copies of the Marti work, as if they considered them subversive, perhaps because he had expressed that Martí was the intellectual author of the events of the July 26. He affirmed: "It does not matter, I bring in my heart the doctrines of the Master and in my thoughts the noble ideas of all the men who have defended the freedom of the peoples".

For this reason, Martí and Fidel are paradigms of all times, they are two great men who added the same ideal to Cuba, that is why today they continue together on the same path, in the same place that serves as the glorious altar of the Fatherland. There they stand, immortal and untouched to continue defending Cuba and its people.
