The National Coordinator of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) Carlos Rafael Miranda Martínez, member of the Central Committee of the Party and the Council of State of the Republic of Cuba, exchanged with local leaders of the town of Buenaventura, in the municipality of Holguin by Calixto García.
Miranda Martínez said that with the consciousness of the CDRs in each neighborhood, the functioning of the organization and the composition of their well-defined structures, tools should be proposed that solve the difficulties to contribute with solid arguments to defend our history and preserve the achievements of the revolution.
Carlos Rafael shared experiences of community work and said: "The organization may keep job indicators well, but what we can not neglect is the mobilization of the people."
He added "... this is an organization that has to be in constant movement, in every bit, with small details, because there is no CDR, nor municipality equal".
He also summoned to keep alive the example of the founder and guide of the CDR, Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, as well as to optimize the ideological political work from the creative capacity and the initiatives of each neighborhood.
Esmildo Cruz Riberón, First Secretary of the Party in the municipality, also shared this meeting and took the opportunity to recognize the people for the results of the vote in the elections: "Reasons we have, more than enough to continue admiring, respecting this organization," he said.
"We had 96.4 percent of the vote quality, of every 100 people who went to the polls, 97 voted well, voted for the Revolution, we had circumscriptions that one hundred percent of the ballots were valid. Despite the problems we have, there is trust and unity. "
At the meeting Elsa Paneque Hechavarría was recognized for her more than 30 years as a grassroots leader, and in the same way, mention was made of the young people who now join the CDR's leadership in the neighborhood and the children they share with initiatives and renovating ideas. A sign that all of Cuba is a great family.
