She belongs to block eighty-seven of the neighborhood of San Lorenzo, near Buenaventura: "Part of my life has been dedicated to the FMC. From here we carry out community work for the benefit of women and their family. Idalmis Martínez Sánchez is another valuable woman leader of block 38 of the Loma del Muerto neighborhood, about three kilometers from this town head: "Reasons we have to strengthen the activity at the base. We are protagonists. Until recently I was a housewife, now I am a peasant and I invite the other women to perform useful tasks such as counting for voluntary work in the interest of raising funds for the benefit of our organization. "
These women feel the pride of having a space to share, to find answers to family matters, an example of which is that these days they are preparing to celebrate the assemblies prior to the Congress.
