The light of the ideas of the Apostle José Martí radiated with greater strength in the municipality of Calixto García and it could not be otherwise when young people from this territory and from Holguin townships brothers evoked their legacy to make history a source of eternal inspiration and commitment.

The route of the flame of the "Marti's Route through the light of its ideas" became a space to reaffirm convictions and honor the most universal of Cubans.

The trip of the delegation making this route came to the primary school Luis Saíz and shared experiences of the work of this educational center that today allows to realize the dreams of revolutionary martyrs such as the brothers Saíz Montes de Oca.

The art that is promoted as part of the educational program was showed in the voice of the pioneer Keila Roche Quevedo, who delighted with her peculiar voice interpreting Guajira Guantanamera. The sowing of a tree, as a faithful witness of this tribute, brought together delegates and pioneers to evoke the different facets of Marti's ideas that are promoted from Cuban education.

Marti's Route by the light of his ideas then came to the Orlando Proenza Vera baseball stadium in Buenaventura, and there they met local team members who are ready to give the best of themselves to their fans.

Excited and at the same time committed to the challenges he assumes, Carlos Rodríguez Hernández, team director, made clear the validity of Marti's ideology and being faithful followers of his legacy.

"In Martí there is an immense wealth of knowledge that we have to put into practice and from each of our positions be more consistent with his legacy and conviction."

The pioneer camp of Cañada Honda was the next stop on this tour where pioneers showed what they learned in the different modalities of the exploration and camping program.

From this bordering neighborhood with the province of Las Tunas, this route was handed out, which continues its journey in homage to the 165th anniversary of Martí's birth.
