The electoral authorities of the municipality of Calixto García in Holguin pointed out in a practical way the assurances to carry out the first round of the general elections, next Sunday, November 26, where the delegates of the Municipal Assembly of People's Power will be elected.

In the test members of the different electoral structures in the town opened the doors of the 136 schools at seven in the morning, reviewed the documentation and checked the communications in a prioritized manner.

"We are satisfied. We have had the opportunity to review detail in detail, the attendance and punctuality of those who have the responsibility of insuring the elections. The Flag and the Shield are in the highest place at the elections room. We are prepared. Everything is in order, "said Juan Leyva Cruz, President of the Electoral Commission of Circumscription 15, in Buenaventura.

In the dynamic test more than 900 electoral authorities of the territory also supervised alternative means of communication such as the use of carrier pigeons and the activity of radio amateurs, to avoid possible failures with the flow of information from the schools to the circumscriptions, from these to the computer centers in the Popular Councils and then to the Municipal Electoral Commission.

In the municipality of Calixto García, more than 41,000 voters are summoned to the polls, who will elect the delegates from constituencies next Sunday, November 26, in the first round of the general elections convened by the Council of State of the Republic of Cuba.
