Vivian Georgina Santiesteban Proenza shares her happiness today at José Robotán street in the town of Buenaventura, in the municipality of Calixto García in Holguin.

"I never really thought about having a comfortable house like this one. Ana Cristina Amador, delegate of the district and one of the first to see the deterioration of Vivian's old house, after the passage of the weather phenomenon, ensures that it was not easy to witness that affectation.
"Seeing the sadness in the eyes of this mother with her little son because of the destruction of her house, practically on the ground, was hard. But we always convey the confidence that this situation would change and today this is the example. Only two months have passed since the hurricane, and Vivian's house is another, now in the final phase. "
"This house is comfortable, built with wood and fiber cement roof. It consists of a portal, dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms, terrace and bathroom outdoors. Here we have worked many days.
"We are now executing the final actions such as the painting of the exterior walls, the installation of the electrical services and the cleaning of the surroundings to conclude it as soon as possible," said Gómez Infante.
And while the construction continues, Vivian put two comfortable mattresses to their respective rooms with the help of friends and exhibits a modern kitchen module that she received as a victim.
The house receives the final touches. The nightmare of this woman after the hurricane was left behind, now she daydreams and is happy, because her new home is a reality.
