The members of the local Council of Administration assigned more than 52 thousand pesos to 115 families for the purchase and free delivery of clothing, footwear, beds, supplies and other resources, considered of first need and that favor the quality of life of these people in need.
Favored by social assistance in the territory, are Manuel Díaz Pérez, and Rubén Infantes Almaguer from the Mir area, who are very grateful for the help that the Cuban state offers.
"We are very grateful for the help that the Revolution offers us and other people with critical health problems, and economic. Many of us already have our new homes and others receive very useful articles for the home. "
In the municipality of Calixto García, there are more than 1,700 families with special needs, which in one way or another receive benefits from the government program that identifies the Cuban social system.
Each year, families assessed with special needs receive more than two million pesos in goods and articles that improve their economic situation.
