In every corner of the popular council of Guaramanao, the party airs are perceived. Branches of coconut trees embrace the trunks of trees and fences, posters with the colors red and black welcome the visitor with phrases that show the motif of the celebration.
July is for the Cubans the month of the awakening, of the birth of a generation that did not let the Apostle José Martí die in his centenary, in 1953. Their legacy and achievements are the reasons for the Cubans to celebrate, like the people of the Guaramanao People's Council, southeast of Calixto García municipality.
From early everything was hustle and bustle. Cuban and July-26 flags waved in the morning breeze. Children, young people, women and men gathered together for the glorious anniversary of Moncada Garrison attack on 1953. Together, the people and the political and governmental authorities of the municipality that bears the name of the General of the Three Wars, Calixto García.
The music, that inseparable friend, comes from the hand of Luis Alberto, along with other instructors of art and the children that will be their relief. There is also Adriana, next to the Municipal Concert Band.
The young people have Ada Iris Velázquez to his spokesperson to ensure that continuity is safe, while Jorge Pichardo Pupo, the delegate to the World Festival of Youth and Students is present too.
Guaramanao´s popular council of selected among others for the results the one of Buenaventura 1, the Casimbas and, of course, the headquarters council.
Likewise young people from the area with a trajectory received their recognition. They were Karina del Rosario Pupo, Milena Pupo, Yilianis Rodríguez and Dianelis Rodríguez, while Odalis Silva and Lázaro Yanier Camejo, received the card that credits them as members of the Communist Party of Cuba.
Then the party began under the shade of the trees, that invited to share with the family and friends, which is also a way to strengthen our roots to continue building the Homeland.
