In the Holguin municipality of Calixto Garcia, the conditions for the next school year are prepared, which will assume an enrollment of more than eight thousand students of different education.

The preparation includes an initial seminar to methodologists, heads of teaching, assistant principals and municipal management officials. Mayelín Guerrero Aguilera is the assistant director of pre-school and special education: "This seminar is a fundamental element to analyze  aspects to which we do not give the best possible attention especially on the indicators of efficiency, and from the actions that We will adopt so we can enhance, polish things better and ensure that the new academic year is of higher quality, " she said.

In assessing the results of the school year, Andrés Barea, head of pre-university education in the provincial directorate of the organization, explained that this teaching had remarkable results here: "The territory is at the forefront in all three subjects, with one hundred percent In Spanish, in Mathematics it surpasses 74, and in History some progress is reported, although in the latter it would have been possible to obtain a better balance. Anyway, the advance experienced places us one among the first two of the province in the results of the entrance tests to higher education. "
