It has been sixteen years since that brilliant idea of the leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro, and as a beautiful awakening in the country dawn the workers of the program of Television Rooms continue to offer love and culture in the rural areas of Municipality of Calixto García.
The program began in 2001 and extended a year later to all of Cuba, becoming a center of social activities, the great house of everybody in the cuban rural neighbourhoods.
It is been a way for fighting against disinformation, also initiatives are gowing in which the different artistic manifestations are promoted and their coordinators work closely with the neighbors, and keep going in the efforts to carry out cultural, sporting and recreational activities.
It is common to reach them and to appreciate art exhibitions, to enjoy a good book or to know about events of womens, peasants and neighbours organizations, who find space to continue weaving dreams and gaining in knowledge.
We are talking about the 38 Television Rooms of this municipality of Holguin, which have become important centers multiplier of ideology, health, entertainment and culture so that the rural population in this territory has a better quality of life.
Many are the reasons to celebrate, sixteen years since the inauguration of this program of the Revolution, emerged in the heat of the Battle of Ideas, today recalls the date, with the satisfaction of making the lives of hundreds of peasants in the Calixto Garcia’s neighborhoods.
This new anniversary continue fulfilling Fidel Castro’s dreams and multiplying ideas and culture. Congratulations to everyone in the TV Rooms Program on this new birthday.
